From July 8 to 10, 2026, HELEY Chemical Technology joined the 26th Vietnam International Shoes and Leather Exhibition. The event was held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
During the three-day event, our team welcomed visitors at Booth B-109 in Hall B. We met footwear factories, bag and leather goods makers, material suppliers, buyers, and other industry professionals from Vietnam and overseas.
The exhibition gave us a good chance to show our adhesive solutions, learn about current production needs, and discuss future cooperation with both new and existing customers.
Adhesive Solutions for Footwear and Leather Manufacturing
At the HELEY booth, we showed a wide range of adhesive products for footwear, bags, leather goods, and other related uses.
Our main solutions included:
- PU adhesives for bonding shoe uppers and soles
- Chloroprene adhesives for lasting and fast fixing
- Grafted adhesives for folding and bag production
- Spray adhesives for fabric, foam, and large surfaces
- Water-based adhesives for cleaner production

Many visitors were interested in how adhesives perform in Vietnam’s hot and humid weather. Water resistance, hydrolysis resistance, stable bonding, production speed, and environmental needs were some of the main topics discussed at our booth.
Our technical team did not simply recommend one standard product. We first asked about the customer’s materials, machines, production steps, drying conditions, and bonding needs. This helped us suggest a more suitable adhesive system for each use.
Understanding the Needs of Southeast Asian Manufacturers
Vietnam continues to be an important production base for footwear, bags, leather goods, and other consumer products. As production grows, factories are paying more attention to stable quality, cost control, environmental standards, and reliable supply.
During the exhibition, many customers shared their needs and production problems with us. These talks helped us better understand the real situation in local factories. They also showed that adhesive selection should not be based on price alone.
A good bonding result depends on the whole production process. The right primer, adhesive, hardener, drying temperature, open time, and pressing method all play an important role.
